Averhealth is pleased to announced that Dominique Delagnes will succeed Mark Johnson as our new Chief Executive Officer!

Delagnes, a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience in laboratory management and substance use programs, has served as Averhealth's Chief Operations Officer for the past decade.

contributing to a decline in overdose deaths

An article from The New York Times observes that overdose deaths saw a decline in 2023, signaling that the opioid crisis may be finally turning around, despite its many alarming twists over the years.

This decrease is attributed to two factors: the natural course of drugs when they enter a market, and the increased efforts of federal policymakers. Federal officials have pushed the use of Narcan and have increased funding for addiction treatment, including treatment courts. This research further shows that your hard work is impactful and that treatment courts work!
